SPF DO’S:

DO: CHOOSE THE RIGHT SPF

Opt for broad-spectrum sunscreen with SPF 30 or higher to protect against both UVA and UVB rays effectively.

DON’T APPLY DIRECTLY TO YOUR HAIR

Do not apply sunscreen directly to your hair, as the ingredients can be drying and may alter hair color or weaken extensions. IF USING AN AEROSOL SPF PULL HAIR UP, OR AWAY FROM WHERE YOUR APPLYING!

 

Avoid known harmful ingredients to hair: avobenzone (butyl methoxydibenzoylmethane) and octocrylene

DON’T FORGET TO REAPPLY

Don't forget to reapply SPF throughout the day, especially after swimming, sweating, or towel-drying.

DON’T SKIP Less Obvious Areas

Don't overlook less obvious areas like ears, tops of feet, and backs of hands, which are often neglected but vulnerable to sunburn. If you have Microblading on your eyebrows s don’t forget to apply directly to your microbladed eyebrows and surrounding areas!

DON’T FORGET ABOUT CLOUDY DAYS

Don't skip SPF on cloudy days or during winter months. UV rays can penetrate clouds and cause damage to your skin.
